Xbox 360 + Epson TW-EH480 projector no display

Hi,

I have a problem with displaying picture using EPSON TW-EH480 projector connected to my Xbox 360 slim.

I have tried 3 different HDMI cables, also tried the same model of projector with no difference.

Xbox is working fine with other projector (I am not sure but I think it is a BenQ projector) or TV.

It is weird as it was working perfectly fine few weeks ago, then I was not using my Xbox for ~2 weeks and when I tried few days ago it just not showing any picture.

It looks like projector do not recognize or see there is HDMI cable connected.

Projector itself works fine with PC.

Resetting projector didn't help, resetting display settings and trying different screen resolution did not work either.

Do you know where can the problem be?

Many thanks for all your help, if you need more information I will provide them ASAP.

Well, if the xbox 360 it's self is still putting out a video signal to other displays like TV's or monitor's you know that the issue lies in the one device that's not displaying the picture, the EPSON projector you are asking about. If that projector is the only device that won't display picture from the Xbox 360 you mentioned,  then you know there shouldn't be an issue with the Xbox and that it is likely to do with the Projector. If it doesn't even recognize the HDMI input, it could be a dead cord too, but I highly doubt that. Try using a new cord, and try messing with the display settings on the projector to see if anything helps, but honestly, it very likely has to do with the projector, and it may be a good idea to contact EPSON support to see if there is anything they can offer to help you out support wise.

Keep us updated and best of luck!!!

As I mentioned in the first post I have tried 3 different HDMI cables.

The other thing is it was working fine on my EPSON and suddenly it stopped working.

Trying it on a second projector the same model makes no difference.

There is nothing to set on the projector or I couldn't find it.

Is there any chance to check signal levels on xbox?

I will contact epson and if I have more information I will keep you posted.

Here is an update.

I have contacted EPSON and they sent to me new projector.

No difference, still no display from my Xbox 360.

I am quite sure it is something with Xbox.

Was there any update recently?

Do you have any suggestions how to resolve my problem?

Hello!

someone had a solution to this problem? I have the same problem with the xbox one s. It worked well with the projector, and then stopped working!
The cables are good, the ports of the projector and console too!
If anyone knew anything, I appreciate a tip!
