Xbox 360 elite game saves.

I have an Xbox 360 elite (2007 version) I have already once got the red light of death and had it repaired. To be on the safe side if it ever happens again I would like to save my game saves on an external hard drive or on a pc. Is this possible? If i ever change to the slim I would like to keep my saves because of games such as mass effect etc.

You can put your game saves on a USB Flash Drive for safe keeping. If the game allows is you can even make a copy of it so you have one on the console and one on the flash drive but you would have to remember to update it whenever you played the game. For more information on USB Flash Drives and the Xbox 360 visit: USB Storage Device Support.

You could also use an external hard drive however you would only be limited to the 16gb capacity of the console. Meaning the rest of the space on the hard drive would be rendered useless.

You should also be aware of the following: Beacons and CLOUD STORAGE to Make it Easier to Connect on XBL.
