Xbox 360 DNS Error

Hi, so my xbox 360 has been having some issues saying that there's a DNS error. This has been going on for about 2 weeks and neither the 360 nor the One can connect.

Error status report for the 360:

W: 0000-0021

X: 0000-F001

Y: 0000-0000

Z: 8015-1904

ID: FFFF-FFFF

Q: 8007-0435

T: wireless

A: 192.168.1.104/255.255.255.0

G: 192. 168. 1.1

D: 192.168.1.1, 64.135.192.8

N: linksys

S: WPA

C: 11

Anyone have an idea on how to fix this? Its been pissing me off lately since I just want to play online, I'm thinking of dragging the 360 to a friend's house and seeing if it works there. Also, I've changed my DNS multiple times, reseted the xbox 360 to factory defaults, and have messed around with it quite a bit with no good results.

Thanks,

Have you tried to restore factory defaults, not on the Xbox but on the connection, configure network, additional settings, restore factory setting

It seems like your console is using your router and Foxvalley's as a DNS provider.

Can you try the following: Go to the settings hub on the far right of your console dashboard. There go to the system tile in the upper left. There go to the network settings.

If necessary, choose the Wireless network you are connected to. Then configure the network from automatic to manual settings.

Enter the following information:

IP address: 192.168.1.104
Network/Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Now for the Primary and Secondary DNS, enter: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Now do a connection test to Xbox Live and see if the DNS error goes away.
