Xbox 360 Controller Problem

I just bought a new xbox 360 controller about three weeks ago. A couple days ago it started to take like 5 minutes to connect to my xbox. Whats wrong with my controller and how do I fix it. I know for a fact that is already synced to my xbox.

Hello SLICK - are there any new sources of wireless interference around your console? Perhaps a gaming headset, a cordless telephone, things of that nature. These can interfere with the wireless connectivity of the console and it's controllers. It's worth checking those things out. :)
