Xbox 360 boots to Xbox Logo and then crashes

My Xbox 360 is an original white Xbox 360 from launch period and it has worked fine up until a couple days ago. When I turn it on the the screen loads briefly to the xbox logo and then crashes to a black screen. It then will attempt to start again a few seconds later and get to the logo before crashing again. It does this repeatedly. The Controllers don't connect anymore either they just flash all 4 green lights at the same time over and over again and the xbox itself has no rings at all around the power button. I tried this with both a wired and wireless controller. Also, there are no red lights only green. I want to know if this is something I can fix myself or if the xbox is dead and in need of repair/replacement. Thank you!
