Xbox 360 acts weird/strange (4GB SLIM WHITE XBOX)

I can't do anything with my damn Xbox, I started it up normally yesterday and everything was wiped off it now I'm asked to do an update and I go to do it and it says I can't download this update and fails, this is frustrating! Please help!

I got STATUS CODE: 3F4A-0000-3080-0508-8007-0070 - I'm no tech person, I don't know these error/status codes

Xbox 360 is the "Special" Edition 4GB Family Bundle console (White) - Anything would be helpful!

Hi guys!  Sorry to hear you're getting shenanigans with those update.  There's a few things that can be doing it.  Let's start with this guide here: Xbox Updates | Xbox 360 Updates | Xbox System Update and let us know how it goes.

@ MUTABLESTEAK0 if that doesn't get it working, would you mind making a fresh thread with the exact error you're seeing? That way we'll make sure you both get help!

I tried those and haven't got any luck, thanks for atleast helping me, I appreciate it :')

Also my Xbox is still under warranty, would it be best to send it to Microsoft to get fixed? (I also store all my stuff now on a USB other than the Onboard 4GB Memory) idk if that helps :(

Ah, yeah if those steps didn't fix it and you're under warranty, you can totally set up a repair: support.xbox.com/.../repair-process it'll be easy-peasy.

I fixed my Xbox, it's the update software that glitches, ANYONE READING THIS POST AND HAVE SAME PROBLEM, DO THIS:

1. Highlight hard drive and press Y

2. Then choose clear system cache 3 times and restart

3. After the restart, highlight hard drive again and press LB RB X, LB RB X

It will ask to reset update choose Yes

4. After that it will ask to update again choose Yes

that step worked for me. :)
