If power cycling (holding the Xbox console touch button for 8 seconds until it turns off) doesn't work then Microsoft Support recommended contacting Microsoft Phone Support to resolve the issue.
A few users have received a firmware update and had their console "flashed" and this has resolved the problem without having to send off the console. Just make sure you mentioned that you have had the "green screen" for more than 10 minutes. Keep us posted
