XBL > Wi-Fi Connection =\

This is my first time posting on the forums, so... I'm not completely sure if this is the right place that I should be posting in, so if I am wrong, I am sorry!

First off... this just started happening a few days ago.

When my laptop is on and I'm browsing the web, everything is great, but about 2-5 minutes after I turn on my 360, and connect to LIVE, for some reason, it kicks my laptop off of its Wi-Fi and it will not let me connect unless I use a Ethernet cable.

My ports are open on my Belkin Router,  and I've been a firm XB user since the original days of the big black box.

As I said.. it just started, and it's miffing me pretty bad =\

So if anyone knows anything about this, or could point me into the right direction, I would be really greatful!

Thanks!

Here are some steps to follow, Make sure the Xbox and the Laptop are using different IP addresses. Check to see if your security on the router is set to a shared "Pass Phrase" that you have 2 Devices selected or more depending on how many connections you have.

Also what type of Wireless security are you using? WPA WEP ect.

My Xbox is 192.168.2.4 and then my Laptop's connection is 192.168.2.1, so they are different.

Security = WPA2 Only

Wi-Fi and Login to Belkin is password protected.

Sitting on a Dynamic connection.

There are 2 Laptops, Desktop, and the 360 console on the connection.

The internet works completely fine, and its really fast, until *dun dun dunnnnn* I turn on my xbox.

The console is connected through with a Ethernet Cable, as is the desktop, but the desktop does not d/c like the wireless.   It shows on the router that it it's on, but then again, when the console is on, neither of the laptops can pick anything up.  I am currently away from civilization (countryish) and connected through Suddenlink, and I have no worries of someone stealing my internet.  Or else that could be a culprit.

I'm pretty internet/technology savvy, and it kinda grinds my gears to why I cannot figure this out :P

Again, I am using a Belkin Router (Model F5D2734-4 v4)

So if you know of any settings that I could swap to, or help in any way, I would much appreciate it :3

Hey NME - I'm not able to find any information on that router model. Did you mean by chance the F5D7234-4?
