WTF??? Can't purchase ANYTHING from xbox live?

Hello all,

I'm trying to buy FIFA 12, I'm using the same credit card i have for the past 4 years. Its always worked in the past but not now?.

I have added new card and even added my trusty paypal account, but still neither  work?

I have even tried to make my purchase through this website and still no luck?

I tried buying points instead...... but still no luck?

Erm..... hang on a minute?........Maybe Xbox Live are trying to get everyone to add more credit cards and paypal accounts by killing the system for a few hours?... I'm sure they know this will make more money in the long run...... Just a thought :)

Anyone with same issues do have your say....

Ive tried both system and computer... several times....

I get the message....

Can't authorise the selected payment option. Please select a different payment option or add a new one.

I have done the above message several times. New credit card etc, etc... Oh and all my details are correct.

You can try looking  around on this support page  ( support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-credit-card-authorization-failure ) it may help or it may not I'll see if i can find anything else to help.

I saw a Service Alert recently to do with accounts and confirming payments or members being unable to buy stuff.

You can view Service Alerts by visiting support.xbox.com/.../three-flashinglights
