My xbox says i might be using the wrong wpa pass phrase however i put the same pass phrase in on my laptop and phone and they connect perfectly fine. Is it my xbox causing the problem or my router ?

Cant connect to your wireless network
Your wireless network is secured with a WEP key or WPA passphrase. Your console may be using the wrong one.
On your PC, go to your router configuration webpage and write down your wireless network's WEP key or WPA passphrase.
Could be either but to know we'd need to know what you have. Answer the questions in this thread,

Also if you have Turtle Beach headsets that plug in with a USB powered base station unplug them and see if it works for you.
