Wrong OS? Plus Kinect issues, etc.

I live in the US and "xbox on" does not work at all.  The other voice commands work.  It appears I have the "wrong" system update, as my version is 6.2.10410fre, not the 6.2.10422.0 the website says I should have.

Any solutions?  I can play games at least.

Correction:  I am 6.2.10210 as well. Still, the website says we should be 6.2.10422.

Has anyone tried this method and confirmed it to work? I am also on 6.2.10210.0 fre, which leads me to believe it may be a french version. Im concerned about trying the method linked to above and it makes not mention of "fre" in the OS list.

Im trying to get an answer from Xbox support but the first person couldnt help me, and im now on hold waiting for someone in another department.

Tried what method? I havent figured out how to get the system to check for updates. That link just shows you how to check the build #.

Oh, sorry I got the links mixed up.

support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool

Shows how to flash the update. I've since tried it, and it didn't change the OS version  to the correct version. There's another thread about this, and it doesn't seem to work correctly for anyone.

Hey guys, If you look at the page linked above by Ketorolac you'll see that the  6.2.10210.0 is now listed as the correect version. 6.2.10422.0 has been removed.
