Wireless issue

I have the same issue, only my xbox works at home, and when I go to a different place, it finds the network sometimes, and sometimes doesnt, and when it does, it says that i need to reset, or that the password is wrong.

I have reset the routher there so many times and it hasnt made a difference, any ideas??

you need to configure the wireless settings on the Xbox - as it would have the settings from your home on it and depends on how its setup at the other place.

Configure your wireless settings

  1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings and then select System Settings.
  2. Select Network Settings.
  3. Select the name of your wireless network.

    Note If you do not see your wireless network, select Advanced Options. Then, select Specify Unlisted Network, and enter your wireless network name. Next, you are prompted to choose the security type. 

  4. Enter your wireless network password. How to find your wireless network password.
  5. Select Yes if you are prompted to update your console software.
