Wireless Headset (360 to XBOX One)

Hello,

I got my XBOX ONE on Friday; I was very disappointed when I realized I couldn't use my XBOX 360 wireless headset with it; which cost me a fortune considering how much I was making at the time I bought it.

The box included a wired headset you could connect to your controller, but it's in no way as convenient and the audio quality is not the same. It's really difficult for me to understand how they did not include compatibility for this kind of component initially, which is very expensive and important for users.

My question is, is there a way I can make this headset work for me? Maybe using Bluetooth?

I am open to any kind of ideas.

Thanks in advance.

I had read quite a while ago that this wasn't going to be possible.  I will let others comment on workarounds because I am not aware of any at the moment.

I am very surprised that the audio quality of the new headset isn't as good as your wireless headset, because in my opinion it is WAY better.  They are utilizing some new audio technology to make it sound a lot better then on Xbox 360.

The Xbone does not support Bluetooth (which i was surprised by). I was actually hoping the Kinect 2.0 would be controlled by Blu tooth

This is sad to hear.

Do I have any options at all to use my "old" Wireless Headset? I paid a lot of money for that thing.

Auction it on ebay and make due until one is released for the Xbox One.

A wired adaptor (controller to headset) has already been shown to be  possible, look to web to see molders who have done this already.  Hence semi wireless (none to controller from console) is possible.  The official adapters are due early 2014... I read this as Q1 likely.  As for true wireless that would be something we likely have to look to Turtlebeach to deliver on.  In essence it is possible, just a case on integrating BT dongle feature into plug adaptor that comes with the mono headset piece.

There aren't any at the moment. There has to be a wire between the controller (the stereo headset adapter) and headset, although there is no need for any cables between console and controller in order to support this.
