Wired controller problem!!!! Please help!!!!!!

So I bought 3 Xbox consoles and 3 wired controllers. I unboxed 2 consoles and all three controllers. I plugged two controllers in one unit and they both fight for controller one signal. I plugged them into the second console and the same thing happens.

Is there a fix out there to this simple problem? I have searched the web for a solution and no one seems to have the right answer. However, the system set up at my nearby BestBuy seems to have two wired controllers working just fine.

Is there an Xbox field rep that has the solution ? ???

And NO I cannot go wireless since these will be used for outdoor promo events and I have already called the 800 support line.

See this video to better understand what the F* I am going through with Xbox.... I am about to just return everything and buy PS3!!!!

PLEASE HELP.

This may be 'clutching at straws' but have you tried plugging your console into another power outlet?  I know you'll be thinking, "no chance it can't be that" but it's something I would try.  Does the controller work if you take the console to friend?
