WiFi issues NETCOM N150 + Xbox 360 S

Dear Experts,

I've already tried existing suggestions from the forum, but none seems to be working.

Router settings:

  • Cannel: 11 (selected instead of Auto) Current Channel: 1 (strange router....!)
  • Beacon Interval(ms) : 100
  • RTS/CTS Threshold : 2347
  • Fragmentation Threshold(bytes) : 2346
  • DTIM(ms) : 1
  • Wireless Mode : 802.11 g+n
  • Channel Bandwidth : 20 / 40 MHz (can't select other values)
  • Guard Interval: AUTO
  • MCS: AUTO
  • SSID Index: 1
  • Broadcast SSID: Yes
  • use WPS: Yes
  • WPS state : configured
  • WPS  mode : PBC
  • WPS progress: in progress
  • SSID: <My sid name>
  • Authentication Type: WPA2-PSK
  • Encryption: EAS
  • Pre-Shared Key: <my hard to guess pre-shared key in ACII format>
  • WDS mode: off
  • MAC address filter: Deactivated

Is something wrong with XBox 360 S? Mobiles, Laptops can connect but not XBox ???!!!

Hi,

  • Have you ensured your using the very latest firmware on your router?
  • Have you tried disabling all security to see if it connects?
  • Is the SSID name one single word (i.e no spaces)?

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.

Great! Thanks for marking this as the answer.

No. Scared to do that for AUS router. Very last option after everything fails.

Did not help ...

So I assume it has never worked before on this set-up? Have you tried as a test setting the router to N Only mode (no support for Wireless G or B). If it doesn't work in any wireless mode with no security then I would say that the router is not compatible for the adapter. This of course could be resolved in a later version of firmware (if available) so if youv'e exhausted all configuration options I would try that next
