Why is my game corrupt?

So I recovered my old account onto my Xbox ( Which is now in a different region ) today to get back some of my old games I downloaded, so I plugged in my External HDD and started downloading World at War. When it was finished I went to Game Library to play it, but it wasn't there so I went to system settings then memory and checked to see if I had actually downloaded it, I had but it said Unknown then Corrupted Game. Thinking it was a HDD problem I unplugged My HDD plugged it back in and Downloaded Doom 2 trial, it worked perfectly  so I thought something might have gone wrong during the download I tried to re-download it, only to find it corrupted again ( I think it must havs something to do with the region ).

I would really appreciate it if someone would help me with this, I'm really stuck.

Thanks in advance, Stucko33

so you've deleted it and tried re-downloading it? that should work then .hmm. and other games are working fine so it is likely not a hardware issue. you should call 18004myxbox to report this problem. it sounds like you've followed all the proper troubleshooting steps so i think the problem may not be on your end.

I suppose I'll give them a call, but the weird thing is that all the demos work fine but none of the full games do. Also, I looked at all the files on my HDD in Usbxtaf Explorer and it didn't show the game as corrupt but just as World at War.

Well thank you for the quick reply! :)

Try clearing your system cache and see if that helps.
