No, I don't understand... For one, alot of people would rather download, so they don't need the disc. Also, points has nothing to do with it, you can't buy games on demand with points.

I'm not certain I fully understand the question here. I agree that the Games on Demand has usually been lagging behind store prices. The convenience of a download seems to have driven the sales for the overpriced product. However, those who prefer to have a physical copy for re-sale or perhaps are wary of DRM can purchase a copy from retail stores. As of recent however, I have noticed that they are bringing good prices for the Games on Demand. Keep an eye out for those.

You can do either or, but I would suggest just buying them from the store.  Generally you will get a better price.

As for your other GT (Mellerker), what happened to it?  Unless it was banned, you should still be able to use it and re-download any games you have purchased.

Can you still access the other GT?  If so, re-download them on that tag and you should be able to access them, from the same console, with your new tag.

Hello Melleker,

Even if you formatted your HDD, you can redownload the GamerTag from Xbox LIVE, and then access your download history and redownload any items.

@Jameser78  Microsoft Points can be used to purchase Games on Demand, unless they've changed things in the last year.
