When 2 Xboxes Become 1 - How Do You Do That?

I shall soon end up with 2 XBoxes.

I want to upgrade 1 of them to the new 250GB XBox and put the content and profiles from the 2 previous XBoxes onto the new 250GB XBox.

Anyone know how you go about doing that?

Cheers,

Az

That's great guys.

Mrs Azrael's Profile hasn't got that much stuff on it so it ought to fit onto a USB stick.

I'll definately need a Data Transfer Cable for all my crap though.

Recover the profiles onto the new console, or move them via memory stick. When signed into a profile you can download the content from your purchase history on the console by going to the My Xbox Channel, selecting your Avatar's square and then Manage Account. Then pick Download History and pick what you want to grab again. You can do it via the site by going here https://live.xbox.com/en-GB/Download/History

Of course you could move the profile AND content using a memory stick or the transfer cable.

Then if you want the content to 'belong' to the new console, to enable it to be used offline, you'll need to run a license transfer http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Support/LicenseMigration/Home

contact customer support....tell them you want to move all your licenses to your new console, they can do this themselves once you have it registered....download them and content again. a Transfer cable can move the data from one console to the new one, but try and repeat it and it will overwright what you have already done, so maybe a bunch of usb keys depending on how much data you want to move across
