What is wrong with grant allowance?

I am a gold member, and primary holder of a family account, I cannot transfer any points to my family members. I have more then enough points, And when I go through the motions, it's says, points transfer successful. But when I check my families members accounts, they remain at their original points level. So basically I get no error codes, but the transfer just does not happen. I saw others with the same problem what is going on and how do we fix it?

Hi I have had this issue before, I also have a family acct. When I had the problem I was told to contact customer support at 18004myxbox. When you do that tell them what is going on and they will give you a ticket number. It then takes up to 3 business days for the techs to look into it. This is the only way  around it I have found out. When I did this I think it was 2 days later I was finally allowed to transfer to another acct. Have a wonderful day let me know if this helps!
