It only deletes any temporary files and game updates. When you boot up a game, you will be prompted to download the latest update for it if the game has a new update or patch.

Achievements and gamerscore are not affected by it.

Hi there n7 RiZe,

-

What he means by temporary files are files that are temporarily stored on the system such as system update files and game updates. To read more information on clearing the system cache check out this support article. Clearing the system cache will not delete any achievements, trust me I've done it multiple times over the years and have never lost an achievement. It will not delete any game saves, media, DLC, games on demand, arcade games.

Issues with your Xbox 360 console can often be resolved by removing temporary files and data from the system cache. The cache stores such items as game updates, system update installation packages, and gamer pictures of your friends.

Clearing the Xbox 360 cache does not remove:

- Your gamertag

- Content that you have downloaded

- Game files

- Console software updates

-

Clearing the cache temporarily removes:

Previously downloaded game updates. You will be prompted to download these updates again the next time you try to play the games.
