Warranty date when I register is much less than 1 year

Yesterday (May 15, 2011) , I bought a new slim Xbox 360 4gb from my local Target. I went online to register the console this morning. After entering the serial number, its stated my warranty is only valid through February 22, 2012. Why is this? It states I have a 1 year warranty, but according to the web site after registering, my warranty is only good for about 9 months. Knowing I had to have my old Xbox 360 pro sent in for RROD and I went and bought this new xbox 4gb because the same machine had a RROD again, this concerns me. I want to have my full warranty incase something happens again.

What gives???

As long as you save your receipt from the purchase you can simply just fax them a copy of it as proof of purchase date for your warranty. They have been working on several parts of this website and it may just be a system glitch. Put your receipt in a safe place just in case you need it.
