Virgin Media and X Box Live

Have been unable to connect to XBox Live since upgrading to Virgin Media Cable

XBox can find the network under network settings but cannot connect to xbox Live, this is both cabled and wireless

Have tried resetting xbox to factory, resetting router to factory and have already cleared all previous settings, nothing. Get the Cannot resolve DNS settings to xbox live message, have tried the suggestions from here on that message, nothing.

Using Virgin Super Hub, everything else connects to the internet fine (PC, Laptops and Phones wireless)

Really frustrating, help please ?????

Just to be sure, have you tried all the steps listed here? Also, have you called your ISP about the issue?

I have never heard of Virgin Media not supporting Xbox Live.  I have been with them on Xbox Live for over 5 years now.  They are or were some known issues with the Virgin Super hub. I can tell you that VM does support Xbox Live.  There is a gaming forum on VM

When VM say that they just mean they won't give you any tech support for Xbox.

@Magic, Have you tried a factory reset of the network settings of the Xbox? The Superhub isn't the best bit of kit but it should work out the box really.
