Video, but no audio out of nowhere

So my Xbox decided to give up on the audio today all of a sudden. It's worked fine for a very long time, and I started it up today to find that there was no audio. I took out the HDMI cable from the back of the console and put it back in and it fixed it for the duration of the session.

The next time I went to turn it on, it did the same thing, but this time, I can't seem to fix it.

Yes, my volume is turned up, and the TV is not muted.

Have you tried a Different HDMI cable? Or try the componant cable (Yellow red and white) which came with the xbox 360. Also try different ports on the tv or a compleatly different tv to figure out if its the tv or the xbox.

Post back :)

I really don't understand what's going on, but now I'm wondering if it's even anything to do with the Xbox. I played with some wires in the back of the TV, but now, when I'm changing the channels on my TV, it takes much longer to tune into the station. Very strange.

I left it sitting overnight and it fixed itself. Very weird. Either way, it's fixed for now. Thanks for the help.
