Using the same HDD for Xbox One and 360

Well, in about two months I'll get a Xbox One, but I',m in need for external storage for my 360 As far as I know, Xbox One supports USB 3.0 upwards, and Xbox 360 USB 2.0 upwards, so I don't expect as clash there, but what about the data on the external storage? Basicly I only need  100-200gb for my 360, but I'll need a big storage for my One down the line, so I thought I could maybe use the same storage for both. Can anyone help me with this, is it possible to use the same storage for both consoles?

Oh I forgot this but no matter how much space you have on the hard drive only 32GBs will be available for use on the 360.

The system is designed to support external storage, hence the USB 3.0 slot on the left hand side of the console.  Hardware wise it's good to go.  At this point we're only waiting for them to finish writing the software and release it in a future update.  According to sources at their support site and from a recent interview with Major Nelson, it should hopefully be available this summer.

The 360 will only allow you to use 32GB and will create a partition of that size on the hard drive. You are then able to use the remainder as normal with, for example, a PC provided it supports the format. In theory, then, it would work with the One as well, but as there is no information released yet about how it specifically works, we would not be able to answer for sure whether this works in practice.

All we know about external storage is that it is coming soon.
