Using my seagate external hard drive with my 360 slim

A few months ago i was using my hard drive to watch films and listen to music on my 360 but now my 360 won’t even recognise it on the video library, if you go
on to memory menu you can see it there but it wants me to reformat it but it is already formatted to NTFS. Any ideas guys?

The 360 does not recognise the NTFS file system when the drive is plugged directly into the console.

So you have two options. Either move your data off temporarily and format the drive to FAT32 or HFS+.

Secondly you could stream from your PC, a good guide of which is here http://tehemperorshand.wordpress.com/
