Using External Hard Drive

I bought Destiny legendary edition for xbox 360 lately. It requires up to 30GB of downloads to work, but my xbox has 4GB of memory. I have a Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk with two TB of storage. I formatted it to my xbox all right with no bad messages, but when i try to load Destiny, it said that i didn't have a hard drive. I bought the game months ago and im sick of waiting. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

For games that require a hard drive, you need an MS Xbox hard drive, not an external drive for storage. You would need the 250gb, 320gb, or 500gb hard drive in order for the game to run properly.

So could I go to a friends house, download it on their xbox, transfer it to my external hard drive, and play it on my xbox?

No. The game requires a hard drive to run because of certain system files.

Hard drive extension?

Seriously? You need one of these....

Leave me and my poverty alone... :'-(

eber is right. There is no way around it. You need an actual Xbox hard drive because of the system files.

Screw it, im stealing my sisters xbox
