user disconncts repeatedly ?

Hi

my connection barely lasts 30 min at best and then disconnects,

that would not e that bad if the the auto logon was working, but it is set in the settings, but after a disconnect, it does not connect back automatically.

i only have one only user on the box.

and if possible - 2 more questions:

1. i created a user on the site before creating it on the box, and now i can't use the email?

should i use the username instead of the email?

2. when i buy a game online, is it available for download all the time? for instance if something happens to the hardware, will i be able to download it again after a fix?

I can answer question 2. Yes. You can transfer your downloaded content to another console once a year.

For your first question, you can use the 'Recover Gamertag' option (in the sign-in menu) to use the Gamertag created on Xbox.com. Can you please run a LIVE connection test and let us know the full results? We're interested in what 'more info' says, too.

sure,

the connection test says "connected" on all 3.

by more info i guess you are referring to the yellow button after the test?

if so this is what shows there:

W 0000 000B

X 0000 F001

Y 20A8 48E0

Z 0000 0000

ID ffff ffff

what i don't understand is why it does not reconnect automatically after it disconnects?

There's no message text though, eh? Have you tried restoring your Xbox to factory settings, to see if that makes any difference in the issue? You can find out how to do so with step 1 here

resetting didn't help, it still disconnects after about 30 min.

BTW i forgot to mention, it's connected by wire, not wireless.

another question, why can't the console download items concurrently?

it only downloads 1 at a time?
