USB Streaming

I recently bought a USB flash drive to stream songs to my xbox when playing games. At the moment it has about 700 songs stored on it but whenever I go to play anything only the first 100 will load. Any thoughts as to why this is happening? Anyone else have this problem?

Check the formats of all the songs.  It could be that the codex is not supported by the xbox.  also there is an ipod codex you can download for the 360 on the dashboard.   This can help solve your problem.   When in doubt convert all music files to mp3 or mp4

I think that the XBOX limits the number of songs it is allowed to open. I remember it doing this on both my MP3 player and USB.

You may want to look into streaming it from your PC

Lites all files are either mp3 or WMA and all will play fine inividually. It just seems that it will only load 100 at a time.

Sorry man.Thats the only thing I could think of.

I'm pretty sure there is no way around the 100 song limit when it's coming off a storage device.

No worries bud. Thanks for the quick answers guys :) Guess I could just split them into 6 or 7 different playlists. At least then I can choose what I'll be listening to.

Thanks again

Mark.
