Updates but doesn't progress!

I've repeated this god knows how many times in the last 2 hours!!!

Turn on console

Go through setup process like language, region etc.

Begins update

completes update

restarts

Progress bar appears and gets about 80% done.. maybe 90%

SWITCHES OFF!!!

Not HAPPY AT ALL!!!

What we can do for that, is we can process your Xbox One for service repairs with us, or you can try to go back to Walmart for processing a replacement for that Xbox.

I've got the same issue green bar gets to about 10% and then the system keeps rebooting

Im having exact same problem, wont power back on after it goes to restart! power seems to just cut out.

I went back and did everything this guy said, even used my brother's power supply who's xbox one IS working and im still having issues, looks to me like a faulty console issue compared to a faulty power supply

What I can suggest, is to try connecting your Xbox through hardwire, directly to your router. Since there are 2 possibilities this problem can happen, either, the hard drive issue, and the network issue.

I've got the same issue with this one earlier, I've tried to ask that customer to directly connect the Xbox one console direct to his router, and the update did went through and was able to properly set up his console.

For your current issue, we cannot do any further troubleshooting for the hard drive, since Xbox hard drive is built in internally, and you have not been able to get to the dashboard, for us to check any bad sectors or corrupted files on the hard drive.

tried rebooting a few more times, no it doesn't even have the green screen. All i get is blank black screen. all the lights on the console and Kinect or on but nobodies home :(

Called support again, explained the story from start to finish, they told me to take it back to the retailer.

Guess it's a trip to Game tomorrow..
