Can anyone tell me what today's update was all about please and thank you.

I went and switched it on this morning and was told there was an update to the service which I have now installed but I don't see anything different.

From Major Nelson, its just bug fixes

-

"I wanted to let you know that the team has just released a system update for the Xbox 360 over Xbox LIVE," writes the Major. "Starting today when you sign in to Xbox LIVE you'll receive a prompt to accept this mandatory update. If you are signed into LIVE already, you may be signed out and asked to accept the update and you'll be back online in a few moments"

"In this update, we are correcting some issues such as displaying the incorrect playlist name when launching a playlist from Xbox SmartGlass to the console, an error with Xbox Video closed-captioning and an error with Xbox Music that some were experiencing. Thanks and we will see you online."

@CockneyCharmer thank you very much for that. That was really helpful.

That's a big old update just for some bug fixes, I'm expecting to see lots of hackers moaning that their consoles have been bricked soon......

Good! If only there was an update that would cause a hackers console to catch fire.

[/quote] Did you really just say that? I think health and safety matters and Microsoft would be sued for damages to the TV unit.

personally ive never understood hacking games.wheres the fun playing the game to level up or get better weapons etc.i'd hate to pay £50 for a game then lose all the fun because im invicible or something because ive hacked it.
