Unauthorized Access Investigation

Well, What I'm going to be posting is quite simple.
My xbox console was stolen from me on the 12th of August.
I called Microsoft support immediately on the following day. (13th of August)
I have called MULTIPLE times.
Being given a time frame of 20-30 days before my investigation would be finished.
The customer service has been great.
However, When I first called.
They had mistaken that my account had purchases on it that weren't mine.
When, In reality.
I just wanted to safe guard said account.
Well, I've done the math.
I'm sitting at my 27th day.
I've talked to many people about this problem.
I'm an avid gamer and would like this to be handled as quickly as possible.
But, I can never speak to someone that can actually do something (I.E. Investigations or a Supervisor)
Should I just cut my losses?
I've had this account for 5 years and I don't want to continue to suffer because things can't be done.
And, I understand that Xbox Live has A LOT of people.
However, I had a similar situation happen to me with Blizzard Entertainment.
And, I was back online within 4 hours.

why not go to a friends place and recover your gamertag there. then the person who stole your 360 cant use your gamertag.

Unfortunately once an unauthorized access claim has been filed, it has to run it's course. It appears that it's been less than the 20-30 days quoted since you provided the police report, and that's the date with which the investigation would have started in earnest. We apologize for the inconvenience, but the account will be cleared soon. :)

Lockjaw - The following week, My girlfriend had brought her xbox over.

So, My account was already recovered.

I also recovered it on Monday night when I got my GoW3 console.

I just figured this would have been handled a bit more appropriately.

I haven't received one email this entire time.

I figured there would be some sort of paper trail allowing me (The Customer) to know what's going on with my account.

Or, at least notifying me if it was going to take longer than expected.

However, I was wrong for assuming that.

Regardless, I just hope this can be handled quickly.

I spent $600+ on the 19th for Gears of War 3, and it's a shame that I can't do anything online.

The larger the company/service...the longer it takes for anything to get done. That is the unfortunate side of Large Business. Add to the fact that A LOT of false claims have to be rooted out along the way.

mi anterior nitk era chiquifa despues de 6 años conectado me vanearon la cuenta, con ella juegos comprados tiempo pagado, puntos amigos me lo an quitado todo sin saver porque como dice mauriño porque si te comunican algo posiblemente sea un robot telefonico porque los que mandan algo no dan la cara,
