Unable to upgrade to gold account.

Hi, I just spoke to one of your phone representatives on the phone and he advised me to post here as he wasn't able to see a problem with my account. I have a silver membership and am connected to xbox live but when I try and upgrade the membership to gold the Xbox guide pops up for a split second and I get taken back to the dashboard with no error message. I hope you can help me, finally decided to go gold again and I can't wait to play.

My gamertag is "C H R O IVI 3"

Oh, I couldn't access the forum from my other account with the representative on the phone and he suggested that I sign in with a different account to post my problem.

Hello this could be an email related problem, you have to have a Microsoft email tied to the account in-order to access gold membership; that's what I've found in the past, but might not be in the case! But worth a shot! Under the dash board on your console go to Account info under setting's and then select account. Or click your avatar on the dashboard and should list the email and access to changing it from their! =]

does it say gold or silver for your membership? did you purchase a 1mth 3mth or a 1yr gold subscription?

Hi NJDevils rock13.

It says I have a silver membership. I don't even get to the part where I can purchase. When I click on the account button in the options, the guide pops up for a split second and then I get send back to the dash like its just logged in.

The representative on the phone said that my payment methods were there and working so he ruled out it was a payment thing.

There's no error message. I tried pressing the account button once yesterday and then twice today but I just get booted to the dashboard.

Hi, still waiting for an Xbox Live representative to have a look at my account and tell me what is wrong with it. I would really like to be able to upgrade my account. I don't want to make another account and lose my gamerscore.
