Unable to play destiny: Router login error message

Dear Xbox live forum,

But i have noticed that when I error code weasel i get the following message on my modem/router login

Oct 14 02:30:40 syslog: eth3 (Int switch port: 2) (Logical Port: 2) Link DOWN.
Oct 14 02:30:41 syslog: eth3 (Int switch port: 2) (Logical Port: 2) Link UP 100 mbps full duplex

Oct 14 03:13:50 syslog: eth3 (Int switch port: 2) (Logical Port: 2) Link DOWN.
Oct 14 03:13:52 syslog: eth3 (Int switch port: 2) (Logical Port: 2) Link UP 100 mbps full duplex

Oct 14 03:40:27 syslog: eth3 (Int switch port: 2) (Logical Port: 2) Link DOWN.
Oct 14 03:40:29 syslog: eth3 (Int switch port: 2) (Logical Port: 2) Link UP 100 mbps full duplex


Oct 14 03:51:57 syslog: eth3 (Int switch port: 2) (Logical Port: 2) Link DOWN.

I have tried changing the ethernet cable
I have tried changing the modem
I have tried changing the ISP three times and attempted to play at another location (all with different ISPs - BT, Sky, talktalk)
I have even bought a second xbox in case the first one was broken.

I have followed everything in the trouble shooting forum

I am still plagued with error code weasels every 10-40 minutes making the game unplayable

Any further advice???

As someone who has been desperate enough to buy a new Xbox and still received the error code... I have tried resetting the Xbox in this manner many times unfortunately. Have also cleared cache using the settings function within Xbox.

Is that the only game that does it?  If so , and you have tried all that you say above I would think it is somehow tied to you gamertag maybe ?  I mean , different xbox at a different house and it still does it is strange but only on that gamertag ?

Any error code gotten via the Destiny game should be checked out on their help page.  Here's a link for Weasel

You should try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down.  This would clear the console's cache and should fix the error.

To be honest, I think this is something you'd need to get in touch with Bungie about, as there seems to be something about your connection that the game doesn't like. I've been weasle'd before, but it was a one off and was fixed by the time I tried logging back on.

Try going through the steps in the link that onyx has provided, as they will be your best bet, and if that still fails, then I'd post it up on the bungie support forums, and have them look into it. I'm not trying to handball it, but if the issue is isolated to this game, then its not something wrong with the xbox or your account, but something with the game.

I don't know if it is possible either , but that is the only thing that followed you to the new xbox and new house and different isp's....that I can think of anyway...

Gamertag?? Never thought of that. Is that even possible??
