UNABLE TO LOG INTO MY PREVIOUS XBOX LIVE ACCOUNT

I attempted to log into my current XBox Live Account on my new Xbox One. I entered the email and password, but then it said it had to send an email to VERIFY my email address.  That email address belonged to my son and we cant access it anymore. My phone number is on file with Xbox, so are they able to send a code or something to verify?

There should be an option on the "Enter security code" screen to select an alternate verification option. You may need to close the on screen keyboard to find it.

Regarding the old email, you'll need to update that bit of security information. You can do this at account.live.com/proofs.

When you try to prove your account you can have the code sent to the phone number that is listed. If you tried PalZer0 solution you may want to contact phone support to gain access to that account.


Give it a go and let us know what you find.
