unable to keep connecition

everyday at about 6 - half 6 my xbox wont connect to xbox live , i try to reconnect but nothing it works then cuts off staright away ive checked my connection everything .

dose anyone have any idea why it dose this ?

it works perfect in the day but night when im playin black ops or summiit bang!! dissconnected

This has been going on every day since the stupid update a couple months ago. It's clear that something has gone wrong on their end , it's not our fault that's for sure. Too many people are complaining about the same problem now, sort it out Microsoft this is getting ridiculous now.

Greetings, BiGjOn! Sorry to hear you're getting disconnected from LIVE -- my apologies! I understand that the disconnections are occurring at the same time every day. Are you doing anything in particular when the disconnection occurs such as navigating through the dashboard, playing a game, or using an app? It seems like it's just when you're playing games. Is that correct?
 

Does this only happen when using your gamertag? I'd be interested to know if the problem persists while playing on a secondary tag. Is this something you'd be able to try out for me?

And post back your details in full (the bits that are in bold on that post) so that people may help

If you are wireless can you also state whether you are using the white or black external adapter or the Xbox 360S Internal adapter

Also can you state whether you are connected via DSL (using your phone line and filters) broadband or Cable/Fibre?

when im playing a game is just cuts me off all the time i cant play any online game at night between 4 - 9 its really annoying now i dunno whats wrong , if its my xbox, broadband .  and it dose it with apps aswell , i was watching the E3 other day and i missed half of it cause it was trying tot connect all the time.

Hey there Big Jon! I understand this disconnection is happen at roughly the same time each night. The next time this happens, can you please run a network connection test on the console and post back with all the answers to the bold questions here (forums.xbox.com/.../155724.aspx) as well as going to http://speedtest.net on a computer on the same network as your console, taking the test there, and posting the result image back here. This will give us a clearer picture of what is going on. Thanks!

For most of the answers there, you'll need to run a network connection test on your console. Please run this test AFTER you get disconnected from LIVE, not while you are properly connected. For those steps, please refer to this article: Troubleshoot Xbox LIVE connection errors

HI,

So you are using wireless, is it possible to try wired to see if that has the same issue? Between 4 - 9pm is peak time for Internet activity, its possible it could be down to congestion with your ISP or some form of traffic shaping. Anyway it would be good to see if you have the same issue wired

i never thought of trying a wired connection yet :) i'll have a go and see what happens,
