Unable to install 320Gb hard drive

Can anyone help. I have a 360 4Gb which means I cannot play Battlefield 4.

In order to play,I've bought a used 320Gb HDD from a retailer, but this drive will not "lock" into the HDD slot in my unit. All looks ok inside, and no obvious reason why it will not allow the drive to be inserted.

Can anyone help? Thanks

Are you certain that the hard drive is an official one and not a knock off?  A lot of them look like actual drives complete with stickers but are not.

Thanks for that. I have tried this HDD in a 2nd Xbox and it works perfectly. I have also noticed that this HDD has 4 small pins as part of a connector. This doesn't appear a standard feature of an original HDD.

Any advice gratefully appreciated
