I am unable to connect my console when I log into my xbox live Gold account, yumyum63, I have logged in on xbox.com and am able to send messages. I had just recently finished playing L4D2 with a friend splitscreen. I turned off the console moved it to another TV which has the wired connection in the house.
I was prompted by my console to redownload my account of which I did. During this process I got an error message stating that downloads are unavailable. Shortly after I retested my connection and was unable to get to my profile, and the Network Status said I was able to connect to Xbox Live with no problems.
My live status however said that I have Service Alert for Services.
This is not DoS attack as my laptop still has connection, and when I click My Account on Xbox.com saying I found a Glitch with no information other than the time in a different time zone.
I will going somewhere later in a place where my profile is downloaded on an Xbox 360, but is password protected with no one but myself knowing the password, to check if it's just my Xbox 360 Slim. I have restarted my Xbox at least thrice, and in where configure network is I restored it to factory defaults and restarted the system afterwards.
I deleted some stuff (I had downloaded the Crimson Map Pack for Halo 4, and not bought it, and had been getting prompts for either buying it or deleting it off my system, though it would not allow me any permission to use it), including the Halo 4 Crimson Map Pack, Eternal Sonata Save Files, and a saves for a few other games I wasn't planning on playing anytime soon.
After doing this my status report changed.
After testing my Xbox Live connection my Status Report was originally: (with differences in parentheses)
L: 8000-4005 (0015-10F0)
G: 192. 168.0.1
Please can anybody help?
