Unable to connect to internet

Recently, I wanted to reconnect to Xbox Live because I wanted to download some DLC.  I failed to connect even though I used 3 different (and working) UTP cables, I reset the Xbox settings to the Factory Default settings a few times and I even reset my router a few times as well. Nothing worked and I'm pretty sure I can conclude that my ethernet port is broken.

My question: Is it possible to get the DLC that I want on any kind of USB flash drive (or other options) so I can still play it offline? And if no, is there any way I could double check if my ethernet port is actually broken or not? (and could I repair this problem?)

Thanks for the replies in advance! :)

Ps: my model = xbox 360 pro

the fact that you can't connect properly is a hint there something wrong with your console ethernet port and the best solution would be to get a wireless adapter.

Check if the DLC you require is released as a disc otherwise you can downloaded it only through your console in order to use it.

Hope this helped you!
