The only reason you need a confirmation code is (probably) because you aren't using Internet Explorer to access your account. If you have access to Internet Explorer, you can bypass the need for a confirmation code by using that to access your account.
I have always received the confirmation code email within moments of trying to access my account, so check your junk mail folder/settings.
