UA Email received. Anybody receive this yet?

I received the following email yesterday. Apparently they are working on a solution from an engineering standpoint in order to get these accounts migrated back. I have hope but it looks like at a minimum I will hit the 80 day mark. Hopeful and frustrated.

Yeah, I recieved that too. Hearing this actually makes me disappointed because I thought it meant that they were actually working on my account. I guess it was really just a mass mailer to everyone they've screwed over so far.

Yay, now we get to look forward to even LONGER wait times. This will bring me up to almost half a year.

I guess we could also look at it as a sign of hope that they are creating something to migrate accounts back to the US or back to our respective countries. I'm just wondering how long this is going to take. I am a tad disappointed that it's a mass mailer. I was kind of hoping it was specific to my account.

yeah i got the same, i`m at the 45 day mark and was hoping at last they are working on my account, but guess not, i will phone and make another complaint tomorrow

My question is why didn't they do this MUCH earlier? If this is what's going to help why has half a year gone by since the hacks started and they are just NOW creating a system for it? Sony got hacked and it was fixed in three months. Tens of millions of accounts fixed in three months. A few thousand for Microsoft and they just START working on a way to fix it after SIX months?

That's seriously a poor job.

I'd expect a pretty big wait.  I'm at day 65 and my account wasn't even migrated to another region.

I called in September 17 to start a UA investigation. A month and a half later, i called back. They didnt even start my investigation. I call back December 13 and they still haven't started my investigation. So I basically waited 3 months for nothing. I had to actually make sure that they have started my investigation during that 3 phone call. Horrible customer service. But Yeah, I also recieved the same email with the free 1 month code...

Oh man!!  This is terrible.  I might as well just buy another Gold Membership before 12-21-12 comes.  I just started my investigation last night and they reportedly locked the account but I have seen the guy logged into xbox.com.

Unfortunately that email doesn't mean anything. That's the automated email that gets sent out every now and then in an attempt to keep us happy. :\

Samurai, don't give them any more money than they deserve. Call up Customer Support and explain your situation, I'll be willing to bet they'd give you a month's code every time you need it. I've got a bunch stocked up because they keep giving them to me despite me telling them I have plenty.

So, until you actually get your account back don't pay for Live on an account you probably don't care about.
