typo in my Windows Live ID

My original Windows Live ID has a typo in it which is causing me to not receive emails from XBOX Live, I have attempted to correct the ID thru my account, but it is trying to send a link to verify the change and the link is being sent to the email address with the typo in it, thus I cannot get or follow the link to verify the change.  How can I correct this.  The email or ID address should end in @comcast.net but it is incorrectly spelled as @comast.net (missing the second letter "c"), the gamertag is C0dfish44. Thanks.

Well, create a new one and change your Windows Live ID from your typo one to the new one. Best suggestion to try at least: support.xbox.com/.../manage-live-id.aspx
