Two Xboxs (1 network) can't join online game at the same time

So here's the short version. We fiddled around with our router (a Linksys BEFSR41) and are able to join each other's LIVE games and play. However, last night we both tried to join my buddies Borderlands game, and only one of us could be in the lobby room at a time, and he couldn't join when we hosted. I have set up port triggering and enabled UPnP. It is an older router so could that be the problem or does he have to adjust his NAT on his end to join our game?

Hello! You could have the other person adjust their NAT settings as well. You might also want to check if your router has an option for DMZ. Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) allows one IP Address (computer/device) to be exposed to the Internet. Some applications require multiple TCP/IP ports to be open. DMZ allows just one computer to be exposed for that purpose. It is recommended that you set your computer with a static IP if you want to use DMZ.
