Turtle Beach PX5 COMPONENT cable setup help?

So I recently got the Turtle Beach PX5's but I have had A LOT of trouble trying to find a way to set them up with my tv. It's an old tv and it has no HDMI capabilities so I can't get an HDMI cord. I really would love to know how to set the PX5's up with just the normal component cables. I have an Xbox 360 Elite model and I also did get the AV adapter piece, however it seems like that only helps with the HDMI cord.

Depends On What Xbox You Have This Is For:

Xbox 360s

1. Connect the Digital Optical Cable - On the 360 vga cable that plugs into the 360 has a  Optical Cable spot to put the Digital Optical Cable

2. Connect the Power To Transmitter - The power is provided by a USB port on the system

Xbox 360 (original)
