Turning off auto-renewal

After choosing to turn auto renewal off, while saving my changes, I receive an error message telling me I cannot save the changes to my account. this has happened two days in a row, multiple times and I am afraid I may be forced to pay for another month's subscription. I am aware that I can immediately cancel my membership over the phone, but I want to get my money's worth for this month's subscription.
