trying to get an old profile back for over a year

hello, my name is mike foley and this is my last resort. i have exausted every option to recover my old gamertag heriticshadow and have no luck. i have been trying to gain access to my old account to transfer all my purchases (over $100 worth) to my new console. i have literally went through every step possible and have been running in circle, the password reset will not email me the password/i never recieve the email (tried many many times). did the questionaire to gain access "not enough information".  i made the account a long time ago so i dont remember alot of the information that i put on there when signing up. i just want the money i invested in marketplace dlc back. i do have a ticket number that has all this noted Ticket# is 195791575.  i dont care about the account because i have a new one. all i am worried about is the money i invested in my old account. if i can't gain access to the old account i would like to be reimbursed on my new account if possible. i just dont want all that money going to waste. PLEASE HELP!!! i am tired of running in circles!

Hey there! I didn't see you mention that you tried to call support? That is the next step I would suggest! Since you bought content on that account you can supply support with the credit card number you used, and they will also ask you some security questions. That seems to be your best bet right now in order to gain the password to this account. I'll also let you know that support will most definitely not reimburse you for content that you can not prove to them that you own, so you'll want to keep trying to get that account back. Good luck!

Well then you didn't provide them enough information to prove it is your account. There is nothing any of us can do to help you if you don't know enough information to recover your account.

I'm honestly thinking about getting rid of my xbox now. idk why they sent me here if no one can help me here either. i have other methods of proving the account is mine but of course the ones xbox support wants are ones that i cannot remember. i made the account like 4 years ago and dont remember the alot of the information i put on there. there has to be a way for them to help me. im not trying to hack someones profile, im just want the money i invested in my old gamertag back or put towards my new gamertag. like  said i have dealt with this for over a year now

Yes. This is, BTW, a Microsoft Account issue, not an Xbox issue; the Microsoft Account support folk have their own support forum at http://windows.microsoft.com/windows-live/id-help-center

 
After signing in with the new Microsoft Account. enter http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=242792 in the address bar of your browser. Fill in the form there, with the subject  EMAIL BEHIND MICROSOFT ID IS BROKEN - give a good working email where their support folks can find you. You should receive a response within a day, the gods willing.

is the email adress for the account still valid?

I had the same problem a few years back but turned out my email account had been suspended by the provider because I had't used it for ages...
