trouble updating new xbox system update

I've been trying to update the system today and it keeps on saying there was  problem with the update... I dont know why its doing this at all....

For anyone still having an issue, please clarify whether you are in the Preview Program or not. If you are in the Preview Program then this will need to be directed at the Preview Support team via their Preview Program Support forums. If you are not in the Preview Program, then the next thing to try is running the Offline System Diagnostic Tool to see if you can get your update issue resolved this way. Please post back with your results.

In most cases, power cycling fixing a majority of problems (localized sign-in issues, game freezes/hangs, update install issues, etc.). This process clears the systems cache and some settings are reverted. It's always recommended because it's a quick and simple. If it works then great, but if it doesn't then things get looked into a little more thoroughly. This same process was applied on the Xbox 360 for years for a variety of problems via a Delete Profile, clear cache, Re-download Profile and viola. In this particular cache, a system update is failing and clearing the cache is a very valid point to start with.
