Transferring data?

I have an old elite Xbox and I was wondering how I could transfer my plug in hard drive data to the one of the new modle elites which has a built in hard drive?

If you have a USB stick (anywhere from 4Gb to 32Gb) what you can do is this.

1.Make sure there is nothing you don't need on it.

2.Plug it into the USB slot and go to Storage on the Xbox Dashboard.

3.Choose the Portable Device and say Yes when it asks if you want to configure the device.

4. If it asks how much space you want to use,choose the maximum.

5.Move all your stuff (saved games,DLC's etc.) to the plug-in.

6.Put the USB stick into the other Xbox and transfer everything across.

Hi, the link above should be a big help to you. I would advise you that if you decide to get a Data Transfer Cable, then for your own sanity please ensure it is a genuine Microsoft certified cable, otherwise you can and indeed will hit all sorts of issues that will cost you a sight more than the extra few $ it costs between buying the real deal and some third party rip off cable.
