You won't get your money back as there's nothing wrong with it, so trade it in

*** about us fellow gamers once they got ya money console looks like it cost about a tenner to make the 360 is better than this brick

Hope you kept your 360 then, and now your have some money for new games so win win

Oh dear not another one people really  need to get a grip.

Why bother posting just go trade it in or ebay it then get on with your life.

Sorry your unhappy but thats life

Whenever they launch the next gen theres always dramas!

If you remember about 9 years ago there was the ring of death

And im sure in another 10 years there will be new problems to go with the new console.

When you say games are crashing, I gather you mean kicking you back to dashboard? I spoke to Xbox Support about this and the guy said ... "Microsoft are aware of this issue" ... So I'm hoping it's going to be fixed in the next update.

Have you tried hard rebooting the console? When the console is on, press and hold the power button on console until you hear it make a beep, it will then reset itself, I believe it clears the memory cache etc, this has worked for a lot of people. If it starts happening again, just repeat process.

Did you buy it from the Microsoft Store? If so I'd keep phoning Support if the above doesn't solve it, if you got it from somewhere else, take it back and demand a replacement but I don't think you would get a full refund now ( I might be wrong )

Good luck.

Lucky for you that you live in the UK.

The retailer who sold it to you is responsible for replacing your ONE with a working model or taking it off your hands for a full refund.

Let us know how you get on.

[/quote]If his machine isn't working then clearly there is something wrong with it. What a strange thing to say!

Take it back to the shop, with your receipt, quote your statutory rights and get either a replacement, which you may have to settle for, or a refund.

If it's within 6 months of purchase they have to prove that such problems are your fault or they break the law doing nothing. Same with anything.

I have no idea what the failure rate for these machines is, on any console. But if you're paying £430 for just the machine I think the least that can be expected is that it works.
