This profile cannot go online.

Yes, annoying...."This profile is not allowed to play online" - Gaming activities.....I must agree with an earlier post..... if your membership runs out, and you renew....and get this problem....I found by deleting your profile on storage, and then re-install profile via xbox-live....fixed the problem. I renewed membership via computer and showed no problem on that... however......I felt the console was not recognizing the new membership........Whilst understanding other problems still cause this problem.....Hope this helps.

Sounds like a synching issue, where there is a lag time between renewing your membership and then being able to go online.  I haven't personally had that problem, but it is feasible.  The solution you mentioned, however, should work.

Hi there! I imagine that it has resolved by now, but just in case it ever happens again, the fastest way to fix it is by downloading your profile again through the Sign In screen.  Welcome back to LIVE!
