The six most ominous treads in Video Games.

Not really a serious article but a humour filled rant on where games are heading, be warned though that there is some bad language in the article so don't click it if you are easily offended.

Well it made me laugh at any rate.

This is the best thing on the front page right now and no one has posted in it. I agree with what's been said and I'm finding myself picking up a load of old games I've never played before and finding much greater value in them than any modern game.

I reember pointing out in a Homefront thread how this and Call of Duty and Killzone and Medal of Honour where the exact same game and everyone acted like I was insane or something. I don't know how you guys stand all these identikit shooting game sequels.

I've just finished reading it, humour element aside, the article is brilliantly written and speaks nothing but the truth in the direction we're heading in.

Highly recommend a read through it, great article that deserves 10 minutes of anyones time.

Have you posted it on Twitter DC?

Meh, article was OK, nicely written but a lot of conjecture on the writers part.

I can understand his fears about the game pool being stagnant but it's not like any of them look like bad games.

As much as I'd like to see more IPs I still stand by the fact that console gaming has never been this varied, entertaining and affordable.

Damn you only notice a spelling mistake when it is too late to edit and no I've not posted it on Twitter, I keep forgetting I have an account.

I thought it was a really well put across article but it made me laugh a whole lot as well.
